dessert teas
Anybody know of a good dessert tea-like something sweet tha is not berry related?
I looove sugar cookie sleigh ride (but its seasonal :() and i drink mayan cocoa spice by yogi too. But I can't seem to find a tea sweet like sguar cookie...any suggestions??
If you like Mayan Cocoa Spice, you'll probably enjoy TeaGschwender Chili Chocolate Tea, which I'll admit I'm a little obsessed with right now. It's not sweet in itself, though.
Some options which might suit you better:
Bigelow's Vanilla series - Vanilla Chai / French Vanilla / Vanilla Almond / Vanilla Caramel / Vanilla Hazelnut
B's White Chocolate Kisses tea (also seasonal, but for Valentine's Day, which means you should still be able to get it)
Celestial Seasonings' Special Occasion Tea Collection (minus the seasonal ones, there's Almond Sunset, English Toffee, Vanilla Hazelnut, Chocolate Raspberry Bliss, and Vanilla Strawberry Rose - though the last two might not be your style)
CS Chai series, especially Chocolate Caramel Enchantment / Honey Vanilla White Chai
Misc CS teas like Honey Vanilla Chamomile / Canadian Vanilla Maple (Decaf Black)
Nearly any flavored black tea from Tealuxe (my favorites: Ceylon Irish Cream, Pumpkin Spice Chai, Creme de la Earl Grey, and Caramel Creme Brulee)
There. That should be enough to start with. ;c)
Celestial Seasoning's Cinnamon Apple Spice is very sweet. I keep it on hand to drink when I am craving dessert but have already eaten all my calories for the day.
I like drinking the celestial seasoning's peppermint tea
last night i had Tazo Green Tea for the first time (it's infused with lemongrass and mint). it was delicious!
I like Lemon Rose from Peet's Coffee.

these all sound delicious! i need to delve deeper into the wonderful world of tea.. :)
Check out www.adagio.com. They have great teas and a hugh selection!
And here is a link to their flavored teas: http://www.adagio.com/signature_blend/index.h tml?SID=dd1dfa659b40d980c991e116a28c1125
And more specifically, a sugar cookie tea: http://www.adagio.com/signature_blend/blend.h tml?blend=5584&sid=dd1dfa659b40d980c991e1 16a28c1125&scrollTop=6047
Another great tea brand is www.mightyleaf.com. They have more traditional flavors but with interesting twists.
wow!
thank you all for the great tea advice. I picked up the celestial seasonings english toffee and am excited to try that. I have had most of all you suggested nassira (looks like we have similar tastes!!!) I wanna try the chili chocolate tea though, where do you get that brand?? Also, is B=bigelow...because I couldn't find that valentine tea :(
shaded...ooo bush tea..not sure i have ever had it. can you get it in store or only online?
Adagio only sells online, but they are worth it. You can even create your own flavored tea.
The Bush is referring to Red Bush, aka rooibos. It has a naturally sweet taste and is extremely good for you. It has tons of anti-oxidants (many studies say more than green tea) and is an excellent alternative for people who don't like the taste of green tea, but want the health benefits. Rooibos has tons of other health benefits that you can read here: http://www.phytochemicals.info/plants/rooibos .php
You can pick up a lot of rooibos blends in stores. The Republic of Tea has a really good blend with Vanilla. It is called Good Hope Vanilla Red Tea.
Zhena's Gypsy Teas make FANTASTIC teas that are well flavored. My personal favorite is their chocolate chai tea. They have a ton of other great ones, but their website is down right now =( But here's a pictuer of the tin-- they're very pretty =)
Lipton Vainlla Caramel Truffle is very yummy. I love it.

:(
If you click on the links, both of those are available online. (I got the chili chocolate as a Valentine, though.
)
yes the lemon rose peets tea is delicous. it smells amazing! i got it a few weeks ago for the first time and burnt my nose smelling it:P i put a little bit of splenda in mine, but im sure it would be great without that as well
i will also take all these suggestions into mind because i am looking for a good tea.
I really like buying the samplers (most companies have them) you get five flavors with four packs of each...it gives variety:) I actually bought one yesterday!
Rooibus is the best. It is VERY SWEET, trust me. I would never put sugar in it.
Rooibus is a type of tea-- herbal, caffeine-free, very rich.
A brand of good rooibus blend is GOOD EARTH SWEET AND SPICY ORIGINAL CAFFEINE FREE-- must try seriously! It is now the only tea I buy.
What are the calories for these teas? I know normal tea is 0 calorie, but it seems like something labelled sugar cookie might not be. I clicked one of the links and didn't see any info.
Should be zero. The chocolate one I posted was zero, anyway.
I regularly drink a vanilla chai that's absolutely to die for. It comes in a tea bag, not a powder so it should be 0 calories. It's made by bigelow - with 1 splenda it's DELICIOUS!
