Deviled eggs?

Quote  |  Reply

I'll delete this once I get an answer...but I had a bad morning today, I went to an event for work where they were passing out breakfast hors douerves and i had two mini quiches and a deviled egg. a mini quiche is between 70 and 90 calories, but i am having trouble estimating how much one deviled egg might be.

by one, i mean half an egg white filled with the yolk/mayo concoction.

thanks.

If you use the recipe section under my account you should be able to come close to figuring it out. The filling is generally mustard, mayo and the yolk, sometimes they put sweet relish in but you would be able to tell if that was in there.
Sorry your morning didn't go well for you, missreporter.  But don't worry too much about the egg -- it would vary by the recipe, but they generally have around 70 cals. :)

i think there was soy sauce in this egg mix...it was REALLY delicious. I was at an event celebrating a new partnership between chinese universities and my own...none of the food was really asian, but i could have sworn i tasted soy sauce in this egg. it would have been a nice touch, and the egg was worth it, the quiche, not so much, they were tasty but cold. thanks for your input. i'll log it at 70 calories. i think that's a decent estimate.

it's a lot though for a measly little deviled egg! in the dark ages, when i would be at a family gathering, i could put down six deviled eggs, and this was before any REAL eating commenced!!
