Darling Husband
Thanks for the laugh- my DH is over here going " not dead husband or dyke housemate or dental hygienist or dysfunctional household?"  I can't stop laughing. Laughing must be a valid way to use up some calories.
For the longest time DH, DW DS (son) etc really had me going
Thanks for the replies and you learn every day, Laughing
I always chuckle over the DH abbreviation because as a baseball fan "Designated Hitter" never fails to pop in my mind!

That's always what I associated it with. I assumed "designated hitter" was some sort of metaphor for significant other.

Hot damn, was I wrong.

Wow. That went right over my head. Somebody is reading a lot of personal ads? o_o

Poetnw that was hilarious! You crack me up. =-P
I thought it was Dear Husband not Darling Husband.........in any case I didnt know what it meant at first either. I kept playing things over in my head as what it could be that had to do with their hubby hehe
I prefer Desperate Housewi(fe)ves...lol
They really do exist in every suburbian town!

I have heard it referred to in both ways.  I, personally, do not use either though.  Tongue out
