Diabold: because Democracy is too important to leave to chance
yeah, i've seen this. it's sad. i wish we could start over.
know what is even more sad, i'm the only one to respond so far.
Yes, apathy is deadly disease.
it would only let me play 2 minutes of it. can probably thank the government for that one! but doesn't everyone at this point know the elections are rigged? it's just part of our flawless democracy.
F*cked. Up.
Can't say I'm surprised, though. That's really sad. I'm glad that man had the balls and integrity to expose the truth of this deception. I too wish we could start over...

If you read Armed Madhouse by Greg Palast, you'll find that the machines are the least of the problems with vote integrity...
not to further depress you, but I agree, the integrity of the vote is probably THE most important issue
There are a number of groups working on improving conditions.
This is one.
And there are some hopeful recent events too. For example, the town of Cary in NC recently passed a law to require a paper trail AND they approved a measure that will allow for instant runoff voting in local elections (you rank the candidates by your first, second, third choice, etc.) and if it's successful in the next election cycle, there are plans for similar measures to be implemented elsewhere and even at the state level.
Don't give up. That's what the powerful want you to do... But we outnumber them and we will never give up.
