What DIDN'T you eat today?
Ok, I thought I'd be creative and start a new thread like the ever-popular "What did YOU eat today", only with a different spin. What tempted you that you passed up? What healthy substitutions did you make? Did you eat a yogurt instead of stopping at McDonald's for breakfast? Did you use mustard instead of mayo on your sandwich? Let's hear your victories!

I passed the starbucks in the grocery store today without getting anything....wow...and I went to whole foods for my lunch break at work and made up a salad for lunch instead of going to walgreens and frantically search for something healthy.
passed up: Cookies...so many cookies...
I passed up our whole "football day" at work..they had chips, hot dogs, all that kinda stuff. Instead I went to Subway! I still wore my Chargers jersey..but passed on the unhealthy foods!
I wanted a piece of chocolate cake today and didn't eat it. I don't have it in the house but I wanted to go get some and make it. Instead my roomie got those donetto's crumb donuts and I ate 2. They are 60 calories each. I included it in my daily calories. I had 2 with a coffee and was plenty to satisfy my sweet tooth.
Glazed doughnut... grapefruit instead. It's flu season, so knowing that I'd benefit form the added vitamin C of the citrus fruit made the decision a little easier. Plus, grapefruits are really sweet. :)
I didnt eat strawberrie shortcake!! Instead I had strawberries and whip cream, Only 200 calories.

Personally, I passed on the most delicious smelling French fries and oreo brownie at lunch today that my friends were literally guzzling down and had grilled chicken on salad (which I haven't had in a while), which turned out to taste a lot better than I thought!
Way to go everyone!
I wanted pizza tonight, so I went home and made it w/ whole wheat tortilla, weight watcher's cheese and turkey pepperoni - it was delicious!!
Today is one of my coworkers birthdays and there will be cake later.....so my plan is to be able to say that I DIDNT eat it. Wish me luck!~
damn....i had a slice of the cake....but in my defense it was Moose Tracks Ice Cream cake so it was worth it lol ughhhh i'm off to the gym!
Chipotle!!!!! I was so proud! I'm at work at packed like always but my boyfriend and his friend are going to Chipotle for dinner and he ask if I wanted him to bring me some and I politely said "No thanks i packed today and I'm good thank you though!" So proud of myself!!! Chiptole used to be a staple in my diet, and I realize that is truly disgusting and not cool ha ha. Yay everyone for over coming cravings!!! :-)
my mom loves making peanut butter chocolate no-bake cookies. Seriously, like, every day she'll make a batch, and it's so incredibly hard for me not to eat them. But today here I sit staring at them and they're not even tempting me :)
My best friend came over today and she ate one of those dreaded cosmic brownies that live in my kitchen but only ate half because she just got some work done on her teeth and the brownie was too chewy for her right now so instead of gobbling it up myself I set it on the counter with a note for my boyfriend to finish it when he got home lol. Also her and I bought hommus tonight and she wanted pita bread to dip in it so she got Shwable's flat bread which one pita has 230 calories in it! I 2 tbps of roasted red pepper hommus with 15 baby carrots instead of one big old super calorie packed pitta flat bread! I was so proud of myself, I was the carb queen.! I may have a soft pretzel later to reward myself with some doughy carbs since I have a good amount of calories to spend :-)
The rest of the plate of cookies someone so nicely brought into work for V-Day.... I only had one. :)
Yesterday at work the boss was in a very good mood and made a run to Dunkin Donuts, on her. While my coworkers requested a breakfast sandwich, 2 donuts, and a muffin (and then said they shouldn't have after the boss went to get everything), I asked for plain hot tea. One breakfast is good enough for me. And I swear my tea addiction had nothing to do with it. : )
I wanted to eat a protein bar but I had a banana instead :)
My boyfriend and I went to Target today and ALL of their Valentine's day stuff including boxes of chocolate was half price. My boyfriend bought himself a Russell Stouffer's 24 oz box of chocolate for 7 bucks and I did not eat any of them!! I'm so happy that he got me a photo album this year instead of candy!!! :-)
