going on a diet after the baby and boyfriend says no...what to do?

So far I've gained 57lbs with my first lil one he is due may 12th and I am a lil lost when it comes to what kind of diet to be on after i give birth. I did start a lil over weight too. I'm at 231 now.

My boyfriend is supportive , goes to EVERY appointment and helps me with everything I may need help with like putting on my socks and shoes on and making sure I am confy as often as possible.....BUT he doesn't want me to go on a diet. He says that he loves me no matter what size I am and it's his fault I weight so much anyway, lol! He even says he likes the newly plumper me anyway ... I'm a lil nervous about this since I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go down to 145 again and I am VERY far from that at the moment!!! I want to make myself happy and go down but at the same time I don't want it to put stress on our relationship since he feels so strongly about it. (He is a thin guy by the way...it makes me feel so disgusting being bigger then him) How would you guys handle this situation?

You should do what makes YOU happy. If you're not happy the way you are, it will put more stress on your relationship than if your boyfriend isn't happy. You're starting down a road of putting yourself last and your child first and (IMO) you shouldn't put yourself behind your boyfriend as well. Your health is one of the few things that need to take a top priority.
