Diet Cake Mix????
Okay, so I saw this cake mix on a site. It's called Dixie Carb Counters Devil's Food Cake Mix and it has 35 calories for 1/12 of the dry mix (which yields a 9x13 cake).
Also, the other day, I saw an recipe on CC that said to simply add diet soda to any devil's food cake mix and bake.
If this actualy woks, then that would yield a 9x13 cake with only 420 calories IN TOTAL.
Anyone think that this would actually work with the carb-count mix? I'm skeptical.

Usually the prepared mixes call for water/oil/eggs (and that is what the diet coke replaces) but this one also says unsweetened chocolate and cream....not sure how it would turn out but you should try it and tell us!
I also just found the Cinnamon Snackin' Cake Mix on the same site. It doesn't call for cream of chocolate and it has th same nutri facts
any other opinions?
why dont you just give it a go and see if it turns out. If it does, awesome! If not, well it's only a couple of dollars!
I've heard of some people adding apple sauce too to cakes-- I'm assuming instead of oil as a way of making it more healthy.. I've personally never tried it, but from what I have heard it's not too bad
Yeah, I've done the applesauce thing
The problem is, I can't find the mix in the store and my parents won't let me order anything online, so I guess i'm out of luck for now.
Mix a can of pumpkin in the cake mix and bake as directions say.
It's a weight watcher recipe.
