Diet Coke!?
I was just wondering, is it okay to drink diet coke or coca cola zero while you're on a diet? I mean, they contain max. 2 calories a bottle and no sugar. So what's so bad about diet coke?
You will here tons of opinions. Most will say to avoid them because of all the chemicals and whatenot. Also the evil artificial sweeteners. As for weight loss, closest thing I have seen is that it might increase craving for sweet things so a person might over eat. So just watch your diet and if you think that is the cause for eating more then you should, or you have adverse reaction to artificial sweetener used in them cut them out. Other then that, it's up to you.
everything in moderation.
I love my diet coke. My new love? Diet Coke Plus. I know its not new, but I just recently tried it and it is delicious...more energizing with all the B vitamins in it. Not much else in it though. Pass the artificial sweetners and chemicals this way, as long as they have a diet coke label on them lol.
I LOVE Coke Zero but I limit myself to 1-2 glasses a day. Other then that I drink Water, it seems like I always have a glass of Water!!! While diet drinks don't have any calories water is still the best thing for you. It helps to keep water weight off and is just all in all the best choice. I've heard that for every caffiene beverage you consume you should drink 8 oz of water to keep your body from getting dependent on caffiene.
I like the occasional cherry coke zero. My real weakness is Hansens diet rootbeer. omg!
