The 2468 Diet

What are peoples thoughts about this diet? Has anyone tried it? What kind of outcome does it produce?

Reason: Locked thread, do not want to encourage additional posts promoting a starvation diet

This is an extremely unhealthy diet, often touted by pro-anas and pro-starvationists. It does not promote healthy weight loss at all.

For those who aren't aware, the 2468 diet goes like this.

Day 1: Eat 200 calories
Day 2: Eat 400 calories
Day 3: Eat 600 calories
Day 4: Eat 800 calories
repeat, starve, lose weight the unhealthy way.

Anorexics and other people who starve DO Lose weight, at the expense of their health. I do NOT suggest you do this diet at all.

I suggest, instead, you try something a little more healthy, such as The Calorie-Count.com Diet, which is healthy and leads to succesful, sustainable weight loss.
Here's a thread that was posted about this diet. As you can see, it got a little heated, and was locked. Not a good, healthy diet.

WOW...bad stuff there, please avoid that diet. It isnt healthy and we all want to see everyone lose weight the healthy, safe way.

200 cals?!? Damn, my coffee I just had was 130...I would have 70 left for the day LOL
As I've said the millions of other times this diet has been brought up in the forums, the 2468 diet is best looked at with a 1 in front of all the numbers, like so:

1200, 1400, 1600, 1800, back to start.

This is what is commonly known among bodybuilders as 'zig zagging,' in a way, only it's not personally calculated to average some total; more jacking your metabolism around so it doesn't know what to expect, which is good for weight loss.
Wow, that is a horrible diet!

Thats not even a diet.  I'd put that in the "slow suicide" category
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WORKS GREAT AND IS SOOOOO NOT SUICIDE!!!!  you can lose up to 5 lbs a week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol It's a good thing that people doing this diet probably don't have brains that use up much calories to begin with because 200 isn't enough to run one that works!
Please note the mission of Calorie-Count.com is to promote healthy weight loss.  To that end, one of our posting guidelines is:

Promotion of starvation diets or habits that exhibit signs of an eating disorder ("pro-ana", "pro-mia", etc.) is prohibited.

This thread started out asking for opinions, and at the risk of more people coming in to promote what is clearly a starvation diet it is being locked at this time.

Thanks,
Jenn
