That diet patch ad is really peeving me

Quote  |  Reply

Honestly, do we have to look at the skinny chick's little waist hocking us a diet patch to curb our cravings every day?  Seriously?  I know this is the target market, but doesn't this site pretty much advocate the opposite of the quick-fix-patch-lose-20 lbs-in-4-weeks approach to weight loss?

Oh well, money talks, especially when it is hocking diet quick fixes, I suppose.

I tend to agree, but at least the ad(s) keep this site free, I suppose. That may not justify it, but at least it's something...
If you find an ad that offends you, try to copy it and send it to the contact number at the top of the page.
Personally I do not see these ads, they show up red from my security, so I have no idea what is being advertised.

I hear ya, but I think that the site has very little control about what ads are specifically displayed on the site.

I can ignore it if it means I get to use CC for free :)

bwahahahahahahaha

This post just really tickled my funny bone LOLOL  I just keep looking at it wondering how SHE doesn't have the muffin-top over her jeans and *I* do Tongue out  Life without airbrushing just isn't fair I tell ya!

It is mildly annoying with the animation gig, but I agree with the free thing.  Just wonder how many actually click on it to keep them advertising here.

Ha!  Totally.  But...as said by a few before me - it keeps CC free, so I can put up with having to look at that skinny waist.

scroll to the bottom of the page.  See where it says "contact"?  click on that and report the ad.  If you can do a screen print of the ad, all the better.  If not, give as much information as you can about it - where it appears on the page, the company name, why you don't like it, etc.

Nobody can fix it if you don't report it.  Erik and Igor have worked too hard on this site to have a bad ad mess it up for any member.

LOL! I'm so glad that someone else found this irritating as well.

Like she needs to diet!

The sad thing is... I did click on it... and I did pay $2.95 for the 1-week trial... And not only do they not work, now I've been ripped-off an extra $48.98 that they don't want to refund me.

Crappy patch. Crappy service. Take my word for it and avoid it.
