I have been taking Reductil for 12 months and I am having a lot of headaches. Do you think my headaches are related to Reductil?
Reductil (Meridia) is prescription medication used to treat obesity. It works by affecting the appetite control centers in the brain. Mild headaches can be a side effect of Reductil, and so ask your doctor if that is true for you. Don’t stop taking Reductil without your doctor's approval. Other common side effects are dry mouth, constipation, insomnia, sweating, increased blood pressure, and increased heart rate. The safety and effectiveness of Reductil has not been determined beyond two years. After long-term use, Reductil may not work as well and you may need a different dose.
