As anyone tried them? Last year I used fahrenheit and I really did lose weight without changing my diet or exercising...I didnt have a scale but I could fit into a pair or pants that where to small for me. When I got off them of coarse I gained it back, but I was thinking about using them agian now that I'm changing the way I eat and exercise, or is that a bad idea? I was also thinking about trying hoodia to supress my hunger

I'm thinking of using hoodia but put off by cost and don't want to spend that if they won't work?
I briefly tried diet pills in college, but decided that I should stop. It's too easy for people (including myself) to cross the line into eating disorder territory. I have to watch myself, because I have some of the tendencies that contribute to ED's. (Perfectionist, body image issues, control issues, etc.)
Don't do it. I have a cabinet full of: Hoddia, Relacore, Zantrax, SlimQuick, HydroxyCut, TrimSpa, Taraxatone, you name it, I've got it. All they do is make you jittery and they work as diarrhetics, so you pee every 20min. Not cool. Basically, there is no substitute for good old fashioned working out. If you must, I found that Fat Burn 3 from Apex is a good kicker before a workout and gives you energy without making you shaky. Also, I had a big problem with pill mixing/abuse, and it's reeeeeally easy to become dependent and unhealthy. Save your pennies and put them towards a personal trainer!
I would have to advise against diet pills. I was on Xenadrine in 2000 and yes, even at half the required dosage, I managed to drop from a size 20 back to a size 13 - however, I was walking over a mile a day about 5 days a week to work and I was a cashier so I was on my feet all day every day so i can't quite contribute the loss to the pill alone. Anyway - the ephedra in Xenadrine caused me to feel so jittery that I, at one point, told someone I felt like I could run cirlces ON THE WALLS!.
I recently tried SlimQuick - a friend gave me a bottle they had bought, and it has hoodia in it. While I've read that hoodia isn't bad for you, I read in the same article that the hoodia that REALLY helps in weight loss is protected by the African Government so it's a less potent version of Hoodia that we find in our weightloss aids here in the US. So - even though it wasn't making me feel jittery and I feel like I was losing better while taking one a day, I will just keep working hard. I know I'll feel better about the weight I've lost because I worked so hard to lose it. :)
Just remember - those over the counter weightloss aid pills make claims that you don't have to change what you eat or your lifestyle and still lose weight with them - those claims have not been confirmed/proven true by testing. So they basically are shoving crap into little plastic pills and making a quick $30.00 off your vulnerability and gullible-ness. :)

I'm not talking about not working out and not eating right, I'm talking about adding them to what I"m already doing to get quicker results.
I have lipodrene. I rarely take it because I find that I don't need to. They work really good and KILL my hunger. I could probably eat nothing all day and be fine. The only time I take it is if my appetite is out of control or I feel like binging. Most of the time I prefer to feel normal without all the negative side effects.
I use Lean System 7 before a workout and sometimes throughout the day for appetite supression. It gives me amazing energy before the gym... However, I HAVE noticed that my sleep has suffered slightly from this and sometimes I run around work a little cracked out. I wouldn't say it makes me jittery though, just energized.
