Does anyone take a diet pill in conjunction with their diet/excerise?

Kristine ... I think a prescribed diet pill, closely monitored by your PCP would be good!
During my lifetime, I have taken some of the counter ones... and didn't find any that work.  I even spent money on Release which I heard was supposed to be so good and nothing.

I am down 25 pounds from the YOU diet and have never found anything else that worked this well.  I love the life style change it has offered and think for once I will actually keep this weight off!
If there was one out there guaranteed to work I'd probably take it...but from what I hear none of the OTC ones are any good. Plus, side effects worry me.

I do take Relacore on my PMS days...but not for weight loss. It really does help with mood. I did a lot of research online before I bought it and from what I read I didn't see one single person who'd taken it that had the results that were promised. What I did gather from the reviews that a lot of people started taking it because of the claims to reduce belly fat...and even though it doesn't really do that, a lot of people continued to take it for it's "mood enhancing" benefits...which is what it SHOULD be marketed for.
*sorry. double posted*
You should add weight lifting to your regimine. If you build some muscle up, you fat burning may increase and you could see some weight loss again. Be warned though, you may see a scale increase at first if you gain muscle. That's normal.
I pesonally know  a diet pill that works called fastin- it can only be perscribed by a doctor, but many plastic surgeons offices are able to give you them for cosmetic purposes.

It goes for about $68.00 plus the doctors visit fee.  The girl in the office said her mom went on it and lost more than thirty pounds in less than two months, and my friend decided to go on them and lost about 10 pounds in one month. I am not sure how hard it is for everyone to get this perscription pill but, if you doctor will perscribe it to you. It really works. It's an appitite suppressant. So with minor exercise and these pills you will lose weight. You can also learn to train yourself to eat smaller meals.

My doctor will only allow me to take these for three months, because it is basically a form of speed, and any longer than that and it is unhealthy for your body.

So I guess if your willing to put those in things in your body, you might as well use one that works. And Fastin definetly works. I can vouche for that.
Just quickly, I want to agree with this warning:  NEVER buy Rx pills off the internet.  NEVER.  It is dangerous.

As for OTC diet pills that contain stimulants, including ephedrine (even though it is supposed to be banned):  5 years ago I was taking an ephedrine diet pill and had a stroke and got myself some heart damage as a bonus gift.  I was 25 years old.  It was only about 2 years ago that I truly started to recover.  I will have permanent visual changes due to the stroke and I am still constantly battling anxiety and depression because of a neurotransmitter imbalance caused by the stroke.  I lost 1/2 of my twenties!

I wish that everyone would stay away from all of those horrible "fat burner" supplements.  We are throwing our cash at companies that could care less about our health.
I have had issues in the past with high blood pressure and stuff (once I took a caffine pill to try to pull an all nighter and I couldn't breathe the next day), so I have always been afraid to take anything.  I do take a One A Day Weight Smart vitamin (well, the Walgreen's brand) and Biotin which which is a form of vitamin B...I actually only started taking that because its supposed to aid in growing stronger hair in nails but it turns out it also metabolizes fat and carbs too!  Woo hoo!!!  Bonus!!!  Anyway, I just think diet pills are not the safe way to go because it has the potential to cause health problems...diet and exercise, while slow, is definitely the best way to go.
Currently LOVING Alli w/no side effects THANK GOD. Been on it for 2 days and have lost 4 pounds by following the plan precisly.

Cant wait to hit my goal weight!
