hi all i would like to lose the last 5/6 lbs which may not seem alot but cant get past this point !!

  • most mornings a bolied egg with glass of tomotoe juice or porridge with semi skimmed milk.
  • lunch grilled chicken salad (no dressing)
  • dinner: chicken stirfry with soy sauce or maybe red meat with veg
  • snacks : nuts or low fat cheese square, pack of chewing gum sugar free(love chewing gum !!!)

i basically follow this type of diet some changes from day to day

Once every two weeks i will have some chocolate and icecream ( tried to stop this but i will tend to binge if i dont have some evey couple of weeks)

is there any tips or any advice on how i lose the last couple of lbs and reach my goal, i know if i gave up the treats i have once every two weeks i might have some chance any idea to try to control this would be great.

It's really hard to give tips or advice without knowing how much you weigh, your height, and how many calories a day you are both eating and burning. This list doesn't really tell us much.

i just went on line to check out my bmr and it came up at 1340 and because i dont do much excerise i x 1.2 = 1608.00

i weigh 121lbs

height ; 5ft 4inch

hope this helps

You probably weren't looking for this answer but, you really don't need to lose any weight. Your body mass index is about 20-21 which is very healthy.

Are you under 21?

im over 25 i know im not overweight but i would like to be this weight for the christmas  its my vain weight as i like to call it and would love to achieve this even if lost 4 lbs i think i would be fairly happy feel better in my clothes.

I really don't think you are going to notice 4 pounds but hey...to each his own.

Maybe try eating maitenance calories and lifting some weights if you aren't already? I think you would get more noticable results this way, even without losing any weight.

Do you really chew a whole pack of gum today? That may not have a lot of calories in it, but it has A LOT of sugar. Try cutting back the gum!

just thought id chip in your my twin im 5 ft 4 and 121lbs, what size do you wear btw?

Hey, don't worry, it is ok to want to get rid of those last couple pounds!  And at your weight and height I agree that you will notice them.  I also struggle with those last few pounds (although mine are more than 5!).

I think the best thing you can do is to start exercising.  *especially* since you really just want to look better in clothes and things.  Exercise can help you reshape your body so you can weigh the same and look better.  You don't have to even do that much if you aren't doing any now.  Just 45 minutes 3-4 times a week would really help, I bet.

And...chew as much gum as you want if it isn't loading up with calories...just make sure you brush your teeth!  Chewing gum definitely helps me from mindless eating.
