I'm a new member to CC and like what I see so far.  I have been a yo yo dieter all my life.  I can loose the weight, but cannot maintain it.  I need help!!!  I've joined this site with renewed hope for help with my problem.  I am a "stress" eater and also a "binger".  That is not a healthy combination.  I am up to 205lbs. and heavier than I've been in years.  Anyone got any tips to help out someone like me?  Please reply if you do.  I am desperate!!  I need MOTIVATION!!

Hello. Welcome to the forums.  I'm fairly new here myself and I think that you will find this site very helpful in your weight loss.
I've been a sort of yo-yo dieter myself, but I'm really trying pernamently change my lifestyle this time.  Instead of just going on a diet, loosing a bunch of weight and then gaining it all back, I think I've finally warpped my mind around the idea of changinf my thinking.  Eating healthy and exerciseing shouldent be somthing I just do wehn I'm on a "diet" and want to loose a few lbs.  It needs to be a constant part of my life and somthing i practice evrey day.
If you can change your way of thinking, then hopefully you will not have to worry about constantly going on diets.

As for motivation,  when ever I feel discouraged I just picture myself at my goal weight.  Or I buy a dress or somthing that is too small and use it as inspiration to one day be able to fit into it.  : )
