Different cuts of oats absorb differently?

Quote  |  Reply
Would it be healthier to eat thick-rolled oats or the quick-cooking variety, where it's rolled thinner, till it's like flakes? Would the thick-rolled oats keep you full longer because it takes a longer time to digest and has more fiber?

i allllwayyys wonder about that. i tried to find the GI of each but not much luck....
...cos instant taste way better than the whole ones..and its not like they take anything out!
It's all about the same, but the coarser oats, especially steel cut or whole oats, stay with you longer because they take longer to digest.
Would the fiber content be different?
