The different between satisfying and "just wanting"
Well I have foods which I can ultimately determine as satisfying to my body e.g. keep me full and from craving foods for a while for example wholemeal bread & some protein form.
YET if I eat foods such as cheese on their own its like a green light to being unsatisfied! anyone else?

I always pick at rice crackers. I open a packet and end up eating them all because they don't really fill me up. I also pick at cherries and M&M's.
My most satisfying meal is toast and peanut butter (just a little)
My most satisfying meal is tortilla pizza!
I take two tortillas (100 cals each) put on 1/4 cup of Ragu pizza sauce on to each (60 cals per 1/4 cup), and then I sprinkle it with Kraft mozzarella cheese (80 cals per 1/4 cup) put in the oven and let it bake to perfection at 375* for around 10 minutes (depending on how you like it) and voila! Crispy tortillas, perfectly melted cheese, and so friggen good to eat. It is my STAPLE, for sure. If you have not tried it, you should.
Cottage cheese fills me UP. 13 g protein per 1/2 cup! FF has 80 cals per 1/2 cup and LF has 90. I eat lowfat.
But I seem to be a bottomless pit when it comes to popcorn!
Apples keep me full for about 30 minutes, then the carbs work their magic and I get super hungry.
PB toast is pretty satisfying, that's for sure. So are sardines and crackers. A little bit of oil and protein goes a long way in holding off hunger.
So many food that it's easy to pick at. Start with anything that's free - samples at stores, leftovers from parties or lunches. Proceed to anything in a dish - nuts, M&M's, chips, olives, cookies. These are things that beg to be eaten. Counting is impossible.
Oatmeal with a serving of nuts of any type.
My favorite thing on earth is pasta. Like 1/3 pound of wheat pasta, a bit of Paul Newman's Sockarooni Sauce, add some Tobasco.
I could have it every night, if it was expediant.
Cheese triangles, I can just munch on those even though they never satisy me!

peanut butter oatmeal, popcorn, and hot chocolate always satisfy me. graham crackers, grapefruit, and cookies though always leave me not full and wanting more, haha. i guess i can kind of see why, but it seems like even if i ate a bunch, i wouldn't be satisfied.
I love baby carrots with some fat free feta cheese over the top with lots and lots of salt. Fills me up completely.
