Dim Sum [after] Desserts
I'm going to enjoy myself tomorrow in Seattle and going to eat some good food; anyone living in Seattle or know the basics of a China Town want to suggest some good dessert after it? [Can be inside or outside the restaurant] Bubble tea, taiyaki, pastries.. ;-) Healthy alternatives can be good, but I'll eat what I want but stay inside the caloric intake I usually do so a little more will be fine. :]
EDIT : Also, I'd like to ask how natto is; I'm up for trying any kind of food. :]
I've eaten a lot of natto in sushi places. It's fermented crushed soybeans mixed with raw egg and some finely cut green onions. A lot of people don't like it because it's stringy and has a texture a lot like snot. The flavor is kind of bland, but it makes a good sushi topping - a little bit like flying fish roe (tobiko?).

Hehe, thank you for the suggestion of the dim sum place, I'll suggest it once we get there; Pike Place or Starbucks sounds wonderful, pastries sound good at the moment. ;] Hmm, sounds interesting; I guess I might search around and find a package. Thanks for the information about natto, haven't got much replies about natto when I asked about it in other places ;P

It's worth seeing, especially if you like their coffee, and across the street you can watch them throw salmon around. One thing I really like at House of Hong is sticky rice wrapped in tea leaf. Hehe, hopefully it doesn't; Washington is starting to cool down and become 'ol Washington again. Hehe, I'm not much into coffee, but their pastries are excellent whenever we get some randomly. Ooh, the sticky rice in the tea leaves are really wonderful; I believe when it was the holiday for that (or so I recall..) I went shopping with my mother and we bought like five at a Chinese market because they weren't going to be made until next year! ;-P
Don't want to burst anyones bubbles but the "original" strabucks is actually the 3rd starbucks. The 1st one's been gone a while. Everyone calls it the original one because its better for tourism.
Also: for pastries, why in the world would you go to starbucks? it's not like they even make them... (I'm from Seattle-- and can you tell I work at Tully's, which is a competitor to starbucks? heh heh heh)
ANYWAY. For DELICIOUS pastries, go a couple blocks down from that Starbucks, to Le Panier (http://www.lepanier.com/) ... It's sooooooo good. :)
I don't drink their coffee much because I don't care for the dark roast (I was at a catered birthday once and the barista called it Charbucks). To me it tastes about the same as Peets - Starbuck's literal ancestor - which I don't care for much either. Give me strong coffee, but go light on the roast, please. And better pastries can be found almost anywhere, too. Still, if it provides you with another excuse to go down to the market it's not all bad.
Back to the OP, how was the dim sum? I forgot to mention House of Hong's barbecued pork.
