Going out for dinner and trying to estimate calories before hand. HELP
Hey all.. I'm getting this meal:
The
Grill’s Asian Style Noodles $15
udon noodles in a spicy teriyaki sauce with tender beef tips, broccoli,
red peppers, baby bok choy and bean sprouts
I'm estimating this amount of calories... with 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce, 5 oz of the beef tips and only 1/2 cup of udon noodles. Does this sound ok?
Plain Udon Noodle - Bento Nouveau Noodles 120
Beef, Round, Tip Round - Separable Lean And Fat, Trimmed To 1/4" Fat, All Grades, Cooked, Roasted 332
Broccoli - Cooked, Boiled, Drained, Without Salt 55
Baby Bok Choy - Asian Specialties 15
Bean Sprouts 27
Sauce, Teriyaki, Ready-to-serve 128
SO 723 calories in total
Are the meat & veggies sauteed? If so, plan on adding some oil - how much would be a complete guess though...
same... add some oil and eyeball the noodles, they will probably serve more than a cup of noodles. Try to eat about a cup of them and leave the rest. thats what i'd do, eat all my veggies and meat and leave some of the noodles.
enjoy, sounds yummy!
