If anyone has any idea's and receipe for it, I would be very thankful.

I use an Organic Salad Dressing... Pomegranite Chipolte... Or just regular old ranch is tasty too (but I wouldn't use too much if I can avoid it)
I've found that steamed veggies don't need anything to dip them in... Or at least that's my opinion...

I use the ranch somtimes.
I was thinking maybe somthing with chic peas, or black beans. Just trying to mix it up a bit.
Thanks

Cottage chese! If you dont like the lumps, blend it up. You can "sour" it with a bit of lemon, refridge it and its like sour cream. Then you can have it like that, or put in some french onion soup powder (french onion dip) or sweet chilli sauce. YUM!!
Oh, and SALSA. Find a lower sodium one tho. Its low cal and more veggies :D
I make dips using non fat Greek style yogurt. It has the texture and taste of sour cream and is much thicker than regular yogurt. I like fresh, minced herbs in mine, and maybe a little very finely minced red onion.
hummus is great with fresh veggies (chick peas pureed with tahini, etc).
Hybrids: what brand is this Pomegranate Chipolte dressing?
I agree with Hummus a fave! You can also make a dressing with lowfat soy mayo and dijon mustard. Add some black pepper..yum!
I sqeeze lime juice on my cucumber or tomato slices...sometimes I'll add a little hot sauce too. Pucker up!!! Lol
Roasted Red Pepper Hummus is the best! It's good with veggies and rice crackers.
If you like black beans it's really easy to put a can's worth of low sodium black beans in a blender with a clove of garlic, a squeeze of fresh lime, and some cumin. Blitz it to dip consistancy and ready to go.
I ggogled pomegranate chipotle dressing - it's from Spectrum.
I use these veggie dip/potato toppers from Leonard Mountain that I bought at a local craft show mixed with either nonfat Greek yogurt (Trader Joe's has their own brand that's excellent) or nonfat sour cream or sometimes a mix of both.
Sorry! The post went without the link in it to the veggie dip mixes.

These are really good on a baked potato too. Sometimes I grind them a little finer in the coffee grinder because the big pieces of dried veggies/spices are a little much for me, but they really are delicious and make sitting around eating raw veggies a lot more interesting.
Actually I'm sure if anyone were to Google for "dip mix" there would all sorts of interesting things available. Penzey's Spices also has really tasty dressing mixes that can made into dips, and a really great selection of salt-free spice mixtures that have made all of my meals a lot more flavorful and interesting.

If you're lucky enough to have a Penzey's stor near you (I am), then you can check out the spices in person. They have big apothecary jars on the shelf that you can open and smell the various herbs, spices and blends at the stores.

Here's an Asian Peanut Dip! This is for one serving.
2 tablespoons of peanut butter (all natural, without sugar or salt is best, but any will work)
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed or finely minced
1 tablespoon of lime juice
1 tablespoon of cold water
1 tablespoon of low sodium soy sauce
dash of hot sauce (to taste)
Mix well, until creamy.
