distressed...
This time I really want to do it right you know? I don't need to lose a lot at all- I just want to get rid of those few extra kilos (about 7) that annoy me and tone my body more...
So I'm taking my time. Trying to eat correctly and excercise and lose those damn pounds the right way. No crash dieting.
I was really happy that over the past two and a half weeks I lost a little over a kilo. And then BAM! I woke up and I'm back at my start weight. Overnight. One day I'm 65kg, the next day I'm 66.
I can't understand it... and I feel really upset.
Anyone can be a kilo lighter or heavier on any given day for no particular reason. Usually it's more of a reflection of hydration levels than anything else. That's why it makes sense to only record your weight once a week, same day, same time of day.... this gives your body-weight chance to settle down.
So if you're eating correctly, making good food choices, sensible portion-control, a reasonable calorie-intake target and taking regular exercise try not to panic at temporary blips.... just keep going
Thankyou. Ok- so I need to stop stressing.
I won't weigh myself everyday. And will just ignore it.
Also take note of what you ate the day before the supposed weight gain, wa sit high in Salt, did you hydrate peorperly, is your cycle coming up. Just some things that might make your weight fluctuate.
