just curious how long it takes for the weight to distribute to where its needed??

It doesn't really distribute.  It's not like blowing up an inflatable where if you squeeze one side, the other side expands.   Where your body stores extra fat is a fairly arbitrary process and there's probably a big genetic factor.  A lot of us have 'pear-shaped' written in our DNA and there's sweet FA we can do about it.   Building muscle is a little more predictable so if you do some strengthening exercises you could influence the outcome slightly.  

I wonder as well.  My stomach is growing but my chest still looks so bad!!  what if one cannot exercise??  i am only gaining in belly?

Your chest will probably catch up at some point.  But no-one's completely symmetrical  and few people are 'perfectly proportioned' - whatever that is.  Best clue to your eventual body-shape are your parents and other members of your family.
