Dizzy, Big Time
Today when I woke up, I sat up, and immediately layed back down because I was dizzy. I tried a second time, and it happened again. This has happened to many before, after waking up and sitting up, I know.
So I got out of bed and promptly leaned onto it to keep myself steady. Then when I walked out of the bedroom, I walked into the wall.
I continued on, feeling light headed. I went to the gym and ran my 5.5 miles. I was not dizzy during my run, but I was really tired and had to push pretty hard. Harder than normal for sure.
Now I am at work and I am extremely light headed and when I stand up I do still feel dizzy. Another thing that's odd. . . I feel like I could eat a horse. I am always hungry after my workouts, but never like this. I ate too!
Besides all that- I feel fine. I don't feel "ill" so to speak.
My blood pressure has always been fine. This is my regular routine. I eat with anywhere from a 400-800 deficit every day as I am still losing weight. I am on my last ten pounds. I sleep good at night. Mind you I am pretty tired right now.
Any ideas of what it is? Or should I just live with it today hoping it will pass by tomorrow? I'm never sick, so I am curious if this has happened to anyone else.
Thanks.
First thing, see a doctor about it to rule out anything serious. It might be something called Labrynthitis. Basically, it's vertigo caused by some unknown thing. It could be a fall or injury from the past or caused by a virus that bothers the inner ear. We all have crystals in our inner ear that keep our equilibrium steady. When something disrupts that, we get dizzy. My BF suffers from Labrynthitis, he gets so dizzy that he has to lay down, he says that the room seems to spin. All doctors can do for this is give him an anti-emetic, which makes him tired. The dizzy spell passes and he can go on with his life. It isn't life threatening, it's just annoying. But, do go see a doctor to see what is wrong with you. That's always the safest bet. Good luck, hope that you feel better!
Are you drinking enough water? I know if I'm low for the day I get that feeling. One way to check is if your urine is bright yellow, you need more water.
