Getting dizzy during exercise?
So I've started this intermediate workout class. It's once a week and I just did it for my second time. I get really dizzy when the cardio is really strong. Even if my body can do it, I just cant. I usually stop before i get too dizzy. Has anyone experienced this and how do u get through it?
I experience this when I haven't had enough food or sleep. Make sure you get plenty of both before you work out.
I have had this same problem for a few years for me atleast its a mixture of low blood pressure ans low iron... problem with the blook pressure part is as you work out all you veins open more to allow more blood flow, that further lowers the blood pressure..... iron problem easly solved with simple iron tablets u can get any vitamin store.. blood pressure, i havent come up with a solution ... when im forcing my last few reps out bench pressing some times my vision will start to blur... sounds bad. but its been happening for a few years and iv learnd my limit
yeah low blood pressure, heart rate etc. which i had during ED, salt should increse that, mention it to your doctor though
I'd say get your blood pressure checked. I have low blood pressure & find I get dizzy if I get up too quick, everythings goes dark & I have to hold on to something or close my eyes till my blood catches up with my head.
I did think it was dehydration, so make sure you get enough water.
Well, I got a multivitamin yesterday so I will start that. As for blood pressure, I thought mine was okay. Maybe my iron is low so hopefully the multi will fix that. I really think this is holding me back from getting as much as I can from my class.
I same thing happens to me as with clairesty... i say try everything mentioned and what ever works best stivk with it
I get this during a step class that I take. I'm in good shape (I run half marathons, so the fitness is there, somewhere...) and I eat during the day and drink lots of water, but I do this class and I see stars sometimes. I can't help you figure out why, but it's nice to know I'm not the only one.
Edit: After reading a few other posts, I do have low bp....that may be it.
That would happen to me when my blood sugar would drop during exercise, which just basically meant I wasn't eating enough during the day or needed a pre-workout snack.
