I've been watching calories since the beginning of May and haven't lost much at all. I am keeping my calories low on days that I don't work out (but at or above 1300) and higher on days when I do.
My issue is this: there are days when I can't focus well. It's not every day, but today for example. It's 1117am and I've been up since 715. I ate an apple, have been drinking diet cranberry juice (5 cal per serving, 20 cal total in the bottle which I plan to finish today!) and I've had two rice cakes at 50 cal each.
I've got a mild headache and I'm having problems moving my eyes side to side and even scrolling on the computer makes me feel a little woozy. Anyone else?
I'm eating lunch in 20 minutes (I'm a teacher so I can't eat constantly and I hate snacking in front of my kids). My lunch is worth about 210 calories (wedding ball soup). I'll snack again later today before musical rehearsal (probably 100 cal pack of ritz crackers).
Anyone else having this issue? It almost scares me to drive on days like this because all the movement hurts.

Sounds like low blood sugar to me.
How many calories a day does this site say you should eat? Perhaps you aren't eating nearly enough?

I think it was 1950 with the setting at highly active (I usually go to the gym for an hour -- elliptical for 40 min and then weights). Then I walk at night after dinner when I can. Lately (for the past Friday - today) I haven't been able to do much because I've had rehearsal until 9pm.
I think I have enough sugar though. Especially if you count the carbs.

Maybe ask a doctor. You might suffer from hypoglycemia. My fiancee does, which is how I recognize alot of the symptoms of low blood sugar.
My blood sugar drops if I don't eat enough protein.
Hi! I'm your friendly hypoglycemic nurse! I deal with very similar symptoms when I don't eat what I should be eating. Your aren't getting any protein or healthy fat, hence you feeling like you can't concentrate, getting dizzy, headaches, etc. You're BLOOD sugar is too low, and not maintaining itself when you are only eating simple carbs like rice cakes. Try having homemade peanut or almond butter on whole wheat bread with an egg white omelette for breakfast -- if you rev up your metabolism that way in the morning, that protein and healthy fat will keep you going to lunch. And if you need to eat, guess what? Get over eating in front of your kids ... take 5 and take care of yourself. Passing out in front of them wouldn't be so great, would it? For a snack, try an apple with some almonds, or yogurt with Kashi thrown in. Stay away from all that processed crap, it does nothing for your health and your body. Try planning the night before what you will take with you. All it takes it some effort, good luck! I would also suggest taking a fasting glucose test at your PMD's office.
Hey! You kjnow what it could be -- the artificial sweetener in the "diet" juice! Those are definitely symptoms of side effects. That's happened to me before. Another possibility, migraines and/or eyestrain. Also, I would suggest eating a bigger breakfast (AND lunch for that matter) so you can sustain throughout your day and since it's not so easy to snack.
