Don't treat your body so badly?

Right now, if you throw a ton of wood on the fire, it'll die out. You'll probably throw up if you eat a ton. Eat something really soft, like a bland soup.

pennie - yes, you feel this way because your body does not have enough calories to work properly. You're running on empty.

You have to make an effort to eat more! You might feel nausous  at the thought of food right now, but that will pass (if it doesn't, I would DEF go to the doctor).

How about eating things that are higher in calorie than you're used to? I tend to not eat enough when I'm trying to lose weight too. I don't mean it... so what I've done is keep a container of quick oats at my desk at work. All you need is a little bowl, spoon and hot water to enjoy. It's a great thing to have around because it's filling and very nutritous. I also try to have fruit around, but since they go bad quickly, I also keep nuts at my office. I can just grab a handful and my hunger subsides until I can get something else to eat.

hope this helps. I've fainted before because I wasn't eating enough. not fun.

(don't even get me started on how you need to eat enought to LOSE weight. I am simply addressing the problem that you've posted) :)
Whenever I need to eat but nothing sounds good, I will make a cup of tea and a piece of toast. It's easy on the stomach. It makes me feel a little better and will want to eat something else later. Hope you feel better!

Also on really busy days where sitting down and eating lunch are just not possible, protein bars are great for a quick bite.

im eating an apple im hoping the vitamins will help me feel a bit better so i can eat something else

I know i need to eat more - sometimes i watch what i eat so much and then not realise i wont be able to eat much the rest of the day cause of work so therefore i never make it to 1200 cals

Drink a glass of fruit juice to help raise your bloodsugar enough that you can face solid food - and then EAT! Hypoglycemia is nothing to mess around with - if nothing else, it makes you feel cruddy for the rest of the day! I know you don't feel like you could eat anything at all, but if you don't fix your bloodsugar now, it'll keep going down until you end up in the hospital with a glucose drip.
crackers and chicken soup for now and later something light for dinner.  When the nausea passes then you can eat normally.

Drink some 100% fruit juices to get you hydrated again.

its weird cause i did have a big glass of orange juice and that did not seem to help at all!
Juice by itself won't help... but hopefully it will raise your bloodsugar temporarily so that you can get some real food into your system.

ok guys thanks so much

Im eating an oatmeal and it seems to be helping...

Its a brown sugar one - i think the poster that mentioned not enough sugar nailed it on the head - i find at times i get dizzy and need a shot of suagr

Essh i need to smarten up!

Tisk tisk tisk... You don't want to make yourself Diabetic or Hypoglycemic... you are currently training your body to behave in a mannor that will make you ill perhaps for the rest of your life. it's not a game, So pay closer attention. Dizzy is the tip of the iceburg!
if you can't plan your food out for the whole day, you might at least want to buy some meal replacement bars and keep them on hand for when you don't have time to eat.  Zone bars are what I use and they're better than nothing.
I'm particularly fond of the Luna and Cliff Bars.  You can also keep almonds and other nuts handy.
The glycemic index value of a Clif Bar is 101.  They are made to provide energy to highly active people.
