well for those who read my previous thread ,

tomorrow i'am going for a doctors appointment since i could wait anymore . my ovaries feel like there on fire all the time . and my ovaries feel huge.

well any one suffering from pcos is it common to have the lower abdominal swollen aswell the pelvic region ?

well right now i feel extremely depressed to hopeful the doctor tomorrow will give something or any answer.

one more question is it normal to feel depressed due to hormonal imbalance.

since voice is changing weirdly which i think is due to hormones.

My sister has PCOS. I don't know much about whether or not her lower abdomen swells, but I can definately tell you that her moods are affected from the hormonal changes, and that I've noticed she's been a lot better since starting the medication.

I hope your visit goes well. If you are diagnosed with PCOS, there are a lot of other women out there with it (and plenty on this site) and I'm sure you won't have trouble finding people to support you and answer your questions.

Good luck!

all the question above are for anyone who may have this syndrome to see if theres any symptoms that match.

oh okay i misunderstood. but i do know that my sister has at least one matching symptom: the depression you mentioned. Unless you don't think its a symptom.

Hi!!

I have PCOS as well, but mine is not that severe. However, I've pretty much done an obssessive-compulsive research about this and I can tell u what are some normal syndromes:

- it is completely normal to b dpressed, it happens to me all the time

-ur pelvic zone swollen...i think that might be psychological, as for what I am concerned and what ive investigated, constipation is common, and that's what causes the swollen area

-hirsutism- excess hair in the face/arms/bikini area

-difficulty losing weight

-problems getting pregnant

-weird cycles

-manly stuff like changing voice, getting more of a male figure, etc...

just a few...anyways, as I said, mine is supposedly not that grave, but I was pretty concerned when diagnosed. Also, one thing to remember is that even though ur cycles may be irregular, u SHOULD take pills or anything to have ur periods (even if there's no ovule in them) cuz blood may accumulate each month and then cause CANCER...my doctor told me that. So be sure to get that :) ...also! loads of meds can help to fight ANY of these symptoms, so do not worry, u'll be fine :)

good luck! and hope it helped! :)
