My dog is a junky!
That's it really, I've noticed the last couple of days that she has been agitated by something but didn't know what....
She went on steroids about 2 1/2 weeks ago for her arthritis and although she isn't too bad with tablets I've noticed as the time goes by she has become more and more willing to take these pills, as soon as I lift the bottle she's there waiting.
Turns out the agitation is when it's coming time for her next fix...ha ha ha
Addicted to steroids......
my my
heehe "poochy, your addiction has affected me in the following ways...."
dangit andie, you probably don't get the show Intervention over there, if you did you'd get that!
wonder if theres a such thing as doggy rehab.....
funny how she can associates the pills will feeling better...she is smart!
it must be amazing that she is feeling better though!
Buddy has it figured out that the fridge is where we keep food...he will sit right infront of it and stare at the door!
hehe murph knows his kibble bin is on the fridge.
when he's hungry, he'll stand between his bowl and the fridge, stare at the bowl, stare at me, then stare up at the bin. then repeat.
Our biscuits are on the fridge, too. The dogs will lead us over there, then stare up at the top of the fridge, then at us. Repeat. Same thing! Haha
My dog has been on steroids for the past two weeks as well for her ear infection. She comes running when I get the bottle too but I think it's because she knows that pill will be wrapped in a slice of cheese!
I had a dog that would get excited about peanut butter because we would put his aspirin in peanut butter to get him to take it easier. He would start acting like a looney when he saw the jar thinking he was going to feel good shortly after!! I miss that dog =/! but 15 years is pretty good for a big guy...
hee hee ladies I will have to ask the vet when she goes back about rehab for her.....![]()
jennifer the thing is i don't put the pills in anything she takes them straight
that's why i'm convinced shes addicted.
