Lots of dog lovers on CC!  :)  I'm a dog lover too.  Mine is Lucy, a 5-year-old mixed breed (the vet says he thinks she's Rottweiler/Australian Shepherd).  She's my best friend!

Hi!  I'm a dog lover, I have two right now.  An american bulldog named Star who just had her third birthday, and a little mutt named Rose who has extra digits.  They are my babies.

Edited to say how adorable Tessa is!

I call myself a dog lover but I'm really picky - I love MY doggies. And puppies. A lot of other dogs bother me. I know, I know, it's bad.

I live alone but near to my family. At my parents' house, we have

  • Caesar - a golden retriever/yellow lab mix, but he's white. He is about 100 pounds and the sweetest doggie ever. I call him my polar bear. :)
  • Aira - a big skittish german shepherd. She has a nose like a horse!
  • Boomer - an akita/husky/chow mix. He's very short and stout with long, fluffy fur. He loves the water and he's like a duck because his fur never gets wet!

They are all shedding LIKE CRAZY right now.

My boyfriend and I "share" a dog, too, but it's really his dog. We adopted her 2 1/2 years ago while we were in college and she usually stayed at his house, unless he was staying at mine. Since we graduated in May, we're living in different cities so I only get to see her every few weeks. I miss her so much!

Her name is Bayley and she's a beautiful husky/yellow lab/german shepherd/etc etc mix. Ok, she and Caesar are probably tied for sweetest doggies ever. She is such a lover and LOVES to lick everything! So cute! She is my profile picture but it's not the best one.. I'll see if I can find more. I think she may have been a runt because she is a mix of large breeds, but she's only about 50 lbs. People often think she's still a puppy. :)

I'm a dogless dog lover.  Life just hasn't been real conducive to having a dog until recently.  But I might be getting a vizsla puppy around the beginning of next year.  I am sooooo excited!!

Me too!  My dog's name is Bear - he is three year old heinz 57 - he weighs in at my goal weight of 124.5 and we both have about 12 pounds to lose!  ;)  He has addisons disease and is on Prednisone which makes him gain weight so easily - but he has lost a whole bunch and we are almost there to getting him back to his best weight!  He is my baby and even sits in my lap if he can!!  I can't breathe...but he tries anyways!

I love dogs!!  But, like lys, my circumstances don't really allow for a dog right now :(  Sad.

I've always loved dogs.  My baby, Sammy, is 13 years old, a black lab mix with maybe some great dane in him.  75 pounds, and all leg.  He can outrun the younger boxer and husky next door - up and down the fence.  He was a pound puppy that we got when we moved into our first house, and we didn't do a very good job socializing him.  And I'm sad because he's taken a back seat to the kids, but not much I can do about that.

In the past, I had a chow/golden retreiver mix with a split personality, and cocker spaniels.

I'm a dog lover! i have an adopted 5 1/2-year-old deaf pit bull mix named Murphy. he's my best buddy!

I'm a dog lover without a dog to love!  Our current living situation would be downright abusive to a dog.  We are planning to move soon, and the place we are crossing our fingers for would be MUCH better.  I can't wait for the day that we can get our puppy!

I have 2 adopted mutts that are 7 yrs old.  One day I would like to have a big house and lots of land and take in/foster rescued dogs.

Oddly, I don't really care for puppies - they're cute, but that's about it, so I would prefer to rescue adult dogs.  Which is good because most people are the opposite.  Unfortunately there's not enough of me to go around!

I have a 6 year old Cocker Spaniel I adopted from an atrocious shelter here in South Korea. She's amazing (constant ear infections aside). I wish I had the time for a second dog but one is definitely enough.

He sounds like a dog named Bear that I knew in high school!  Bear was a Newfoundland, who also thought he was a lap dog ... and a drooling one at that!

I am too a dog lover. I adore my dog Gwen. She is 7 years old and is a corgi mix. She is absolutely beautiful and I think she gets lovelier and lovelier every day.

I pretty much love all dogs. They bring such joy and happiness to the world. They are also an asset to weight loss and healthy living---you can not avoid taking long walks and hikes when you have a dog.

Thanks!  Here's mama Brandi at the top.  I am so going to be one of those freaky dog people who pulls out pictures of the dog at every occasion.  Tongue out

thats so what id like to do , i used to just want puppies but after doing work experience at a dogs home my opinions have changed if i ever have another dog id like a recue dog one who has had a really rough time so i can give him a new leash of life and love him to bits. i want another now but i feel it would be unfair for me and the dog until im recovered

all the dogs sound bloody lovely , they really are mans best friend

I also love dogs---all kinds!  I currently have a golden/spaniel which is my first born!!!  He's 9 years old and the love of my life--and my kids and hubby's!!  I will always have a dog no matter what.  They teach us humans so much and thankfully my children are just as much dog lovers as me!!!  No matter what else is happening in this world I know my  Louie loves me!!!!!

I adopted my dog, Kipper, while volunteering at a Humane Society in AZ.  He made the funniest noises whenever he played with toys during free time outside the kennels - I just fell in love and had to take him home!  He still makes those noises when he gets really excited about a toy and it cracks me up every time (it's kind of a whoa-whoa sound, only dog-speak).  He's also a pretty good frisbee catcher!

I'm a sucker for dogs - I love them all!  If I were single, I'd probably be the crazy dog lady with 10 dogs instead of cats.
