So this is pretty gross. But lately my male dog has been having dreams and "liquidating" my carpet, bed, couch, whatever he is on. I don't even like having him lay anywhere near my stuff anymore because well, it is quite disgusting.

He still has his manly parts, so I am assuming it is pretty normal.

Does anyone elses dog do this? If so, is it normal? Is it what I think it is?

yuck, schnood.  just - yuck.  get that dog fixed!

I know I want to but my boyfriend doesn't think we should!

It just grosses me out !

Definately have your dog fixed. Not only will it most likely solve this... liquid-parade, but your dog will become less aggressive, more obedient, less tempted to pee in the house and "mark his territory," etc.

tell your boyfriend that he's mistaken in his belief that the dog's feelings about his balls are analagous to his own ;)

This might be better to sound to a vet?

haha what PG said.

seriously, what is it with guys? do they really think dogs know and/or care what their balls are, what they do, or if they have them? it's absolutely ridiculous. he is sentencing the poor dog to a life of sexual frustration. dog's don't know what balls are. he won't miss them.

and then there's the chance that he could get loose and produce puppies!

get him fixed!!

forget the dog; he's sentencing our schnood to cleaning up doggie spunk for the next ten years.  blech!

RED ROCKET RED ROCKET!!!

i don't get it.  but then, i usually don't get what butters says.

Also schnood, unneutered males have a higher risk of cancer and other problems later in life.

Or the scene from Van Wilder.  Barf!

Ew Schnood!

We had a wonderful Great Dane, a beast that grew so fast it was scary. Everything was huge x 10.

The dream stage was catastrophic.

My husband had this odd thing about getting him fixed, that is until I made him in charge of spooge detail.

*shudders at the memory*

oh my god juliemae, that was one of the only scenes in a movie i can think of that literally made me gag. i could gag just thinking about it, so i won't. :P

hehe i like bagga's solution!

Just gonna toss this out there.

I would take my fur-son to get his boys clipped, but the Mrs. will not have it...

Iggy, did you ever think that maybe she prefers the dog? ;)

My Mom didn't fix her Chihuahua because of religious reasons (prohibited unless the dog's immediate health is at risk) until a couple years ago when the vet told him he had an enlarged prostate. Once he was neutered, it returned to normal and most of his health problems from that vicinity disappeared.
