I was doing a great job counting my calories on this site for almost 2 weeks. Evrything was going smooth I even started working out again. I felt wondeful. Then comes the weekend of week 2. I bad night out and I haven't been able to pick myself up and get back on track since. I liked what I was doing. I liked cooking healthy meals. Then I told myself Its ok just start eating healthy again. Then comes Monday. I forgot my oatmeal at home.. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! !!!!!it its pretty much been down hill all week the same line everyday. "It's ok just pick yourself back up and start eating healthy tomorrow." And now its Friday. A whole week of my life went by with a snap of the fingers. Where'd it go, what did I do?..... So now I am just looking for motivation to get going again. I'm not quitting. I'm not quitting. I'm not quitting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any encouraging words

i know the feeling. I pretty much did the same thing this week. the only advice i have is to just pick it back up thats the only thing that you can do. you cant beat yourself up for losing track. it happens to everyone. its getting back on track that counts. just keep treking and good luck in the future
You can do it, you've already started. And wanting to be healthy is the first step.
Also; when you tell yourself you'll get back on track tomorrow, tell yourself you'll get back on track right after the poor meal. Don't blow the rest of the day just because you slipped up once. This could dilate the problem.

Thanks for the support. Thats a good idea
I know how you feel. The last couple of days have been difficult. Let's all start fresh tomorrow.
Some things I wish to remember from the files of my friend christinak74:
Be Patient with Yourself!
Making positive lifestyle changes takes time and practice. So, if you slip up one day, don't be discouraged! You can learn from it and get back on track the next day. Don't forget to reward your progress!
Nobody's Perfect!
Dieting is hard work. Be prepared for occasional setbacks.
Think Food Through!
When you crave a fattening food, visualize your feelings after you've eaten it and focus on the fact that it isn't worth the remorse you'll feel.
Face Yourself!
Attach a mirror to the front of the refrigerator and another on the pantry. Actually facing yourself may keep you from snacking. And don't forget to smile and tell yourself... You can do this!!
Set Goals!!
Setting positive, realistic goals will help you stay committed and keep you on track.
Remember, It Takes Time!
Changing old habits is never easy! It won't happen overnight. And remember, those extra pounds didn't appear overnight and they won't disappear overnight. Stay positive, focus on your goals, and if you do happen to slip up, don't get discouraged. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start again the next day.
YOU CAN DO IT!!!
Look yourself in the mirror every morning and say, you can do this! You are going to have a good day. :)
