I dont care if it IS healthy ~

What food(s) are healthy but you simply dislike them?

My sister ended a visit here and left behind the remainder of purchased of Fiber One cereal. I know there are fans but tried it and knowing that box will not be opened again.

Also water straight - mixed with walmart brand crystal light (peach tea and apple are my preferences) but plain is not an option and never has been since childhood.

Reason: Released as sticky

Plain raisins. I mean there good in trailmix or oatmeal but alone there gross little shriviled up grapes.

Peanuts. I don't know whats about them, i'll eat them, but for some strange reason they seem to have an aftertaste and give me a headache sometimes.

Green beans in dill pickle juice. Can anyone say gross? ><

Tbh I can't really think of anything else.

~Not really a "health" food, but mayonnaise. I cannot stand it.

~ Peanuts. Which is strange, since I like peanut butter.

~ Peas

~ Rice

~Olives

~Onion. French onion soup is okay. But otherwise...onions and me are not friends.

~Cow's Milk/ any hard or sliced cheese

~Pork (the other white meat) As a child, my father tried to convince me pork was good. "It's like a four-legged chicken!" he said to me. So of course, my eight-year old mouth said "Why are you feeding me mutated animals?" Still haven't ever eaten the stuff.

Skim milk.

If the difference between being healthy and unhealthy was skim milk...I'd be unhealthy. Blech!

I'm with whoever said cottage cheese! YUCK! they're like, gross curds and stuff - sometimes I can stomach it if it comes with pineapple but plain....gross!

Celery, grapefruit, bitter greens and frisee (that stuff that comes in mixed greens that looks like a little plant!)

I don't understand how people can't like WATER! Or at least just tolerate it.

grapefruit

cottage cheese

celery

mustard

bananas (they don't seem like a real fruit to me; they are so terribly dry and mushy)

grapes (I hate the skin on the outside)

raw tomatoes

chickpeas (but I like hummus)

tofu

kimchi

brussels sprouts (so bitter!)

raw mushrooms (taste like styrofoam)

rice cakes (ditto with the above)

cottage cheese

bitter vegetables like endives and chinese bittermelon

big pieces of fat on meat (not really healthy anyway)

tomato soup and sauces unless my mom made it, but I like raw tomatoe

and I also pick out the branchy pieces from spring mix

other than that I'm pretty happy to eat anything

Papaya.

Ham. (raw taste)

mushrooms

sauteed onions

Peas!!! Just say no!

Mom? lol

But seriously, one word-- tofu. Ugh.

I'm convinced that when people don't like tofu, it's because they haven't had it prepared in a way that they like.

I don't dislike much, and I always try to give something another chance every now and again...but....

I just can't stand:

olives

papaya (unless it's in a smoothie or something)

brussel sprout

@ playergirl

I have the tshirt! I should take a pic. lol A friend from out of state was visiting and she was wearing it. I told her I HAD to have one! She gifted me with it before they left.

beets....i absolutely despise them

All bran...actually most cereals that aren't mostly sugar...

Salmon cooked...I love salmon sashimi

Raw onions

Liver, is liver even healthy??

Canned tuna, actually any meat that came in a can

eww pretty much any vegetable known to man except a select few, like broccoli, spinach, green beans, green salad.. i also hate raisins, they are disgusting!

I'm not a fan of tofu because everytime I've had it, it's been like eating little lumps of cooked cheese.  Which probably sounds good to a lot of people, but not to me.  I did try the cut-into-tiny-cubes-and-stir-fry-in-seasoning , and I liked the crust I got - but not the inside of the cubes.

Life's too short to eat food you don't like (unless you need to be polite because someone else is serving it to you).  But there's so much food in the world, you can prepare only the foods you find absolutely delicious that are also healthy.  I've just discovered this!

I'm not crazy about tofu or peanut butter or cereal or brussels sprouts.  I will not be eating these foods by choice ever.

Prunes. I tried to eat a couple of them once, and I ended up puking. SO GROSS.
