Don't judge a post by its title

I read an insane amount of books. We're talking 2-3 a week. I read nonfiction, but mostly literary stuff. And of course I love the classics. I'm currently reading The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

At the speed I go through books, I'm always looking for the next good read. So, how about it CCers? What are you reading?

I am reading Bare Bones by Kathy Reichs. I love her books. A little too technical for my taste but i love a good whodunnit!

I recently polished off the Southern Vampire Mysteries series by Charlaine Harris. Not usually a big vampire fan, but these books kept my interest! The new HBO show True Blood is based on them, though the show has made some additions and revisions. 

Showtime did the same to Dexter...the books are so much more interesting..probably because in the books Dexter is actually a guy with not too many emotions. In the show, you wouldnt believe the stuff he gets into...the first two seasons were good. I am not so sure about the current one though.

I had no idea that Dexter (the show) was based on a series. I'll have to get them as I'm a fan of the show.

Seems like anytime they make the move from book to tv/silver screen there are massive changes made. Though the Harry Potter series has been handled really well so far. I guess there's hope!
