Peanut Butter and banana's together. OMG it is so wonderful. I am 22 yrs old and for the first time tried peanut butter and bananas yesterday for breakfast. I could eat it every morning. mmmm. Anyone eles love PB and bananas

Yes! It's what I have nearly every morning for breakfast -- two slices of whole wheat toast with a TBSP on peanut butter and a banana on top. Mmmm... can't wait for bfast tomorrow morn!
well i usually eat thomas's light multigrain english muffins and I was getting really bored with them. I had pb and banana's so I decided to try it and see if i like the 2 mixed and I do! Its like a treat that tastes soo bad but its actually really good for you.

I had pb and banana sandwhich for the first time about 2 years ago.. been hooked ever since. I have it about 2 x's a week.
Pb and banana sandwiches are really good with honey.

Buy natural peanut butter.... there's nothing in there but nuts. Commercial brands add sugar.
To the OP: try spreading PB on a whole grain tortilla & wrapping it around a banana :)

Myteasgonecold: try natrual pb its has nothing but peanuts and salt. I think some companys make unsalted too. I buy stop and shop store brand natural pb and it has 190 cals for 2 tbsp. It so much better tasting than commercial brands too. Or you could make your own. you just need to process peanuts and salt and I think you add an extra tbsp of peanut oil so its creamier. Foodnetwork.com has recipes.
a great way to enjoy these two foods is to take out a third of the banana, splitting it with your finger to seperate it into two pieces (a 1/3 piece and a 2/3 piece) the 2/3 pieces makes a little trough. Then put the PB in the v shaped trough and put the 1/3 piece back on top. A banana and PB sandwhich with no bread AND delicious! (I hope my description made sense haha)
Pb on a banana is my favourite afternoon snack! My coworkers laugh at me when they catch me eating it at my desk... but it can't stop me. I've been eating this for as long as I can remember (although I used to add a squirt of chocolate syrup on it as well in the pre-calorie count days!)
The hardest part is remembering to put away the pb afterwards so that your spoon/knife/finger doesn't wander in for another taste!
Newly discovered treat for me: A tsp of peanut butter in lower-sugar brown sugar instant oatmeal! YUM!

Haven't tried yet. But I grew up with peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. Love them. I'll have to give the banana thing a try.
I'm still trying to convince my Mom that PB is real food. She's on a super low fat diet and thinks PB is the ultimate evil.

omg....*wipes droole off of face* oh that sounds soooo goood. Im hungry and need to make dinner. for get the lean pork loin chops that I was going to make Ima make this. ahha not but I will store it in my mind when I want something terrible for me.
The sandiwch isn't that bad calorie wise if you use reduced cal bread(mine's 40 cals/ slice) and half the banana. i do that sometime when i can't afford all of the calories.
it helps if you make it in a panini maker too. that way the banana doesn't slide out of the sides. lol
