Don't know how to log this...

I've been to a gym class today, it's called 'swedish gym'. It lasts an hour. It's a combination of cardio-floor exercises, conditioning etc. I think that we do 10 min of cardio-10 min of exercises-10 min of cardio-10 min of exercises and then cardio again...We don't stop moving for 50 minutes.

I have no idea how to log this or how many calories I might have burned!

Good Morning,

I think it would depend on your activity level. I stopped logging any activity and listed myself as "light activity" even though I have a job where I'm on my feet all day and walk 4 to 8 miles a day. I have found this works better for me and I don't get the false premise that I can eat more to set off the high burn activity. Based on my age, etc, I'm going to burn 2550 daily by virtue of a light activity life style and consume 2200 calories. There are days I burn far more than that and eat far less that 2200 calories. I have lost 26 pounds since mid-June just by watching what I put in my mouth, staying active and being sensible.

I would check your activity level and start from there. You may or may not want to list this activity at all, depending on your activity level/lifestyle. If you need to log it, match it up with something that has a fairly high burn rate like power walking, bike riding, etc. In other words, whatever works best for you, run with it.

Good Luck!

I've done something similar, and I logged it as 30 minutes of jogging and 30 minutes of calisthentics. I assume that that's probably an underestimate of calories burned, since it kicked my butt, but I'd much rather underestimate than overestimate.

Just saw that there's a circuit training option on here. I'd put it as that..
