Hi everyone,
Currently I'm 120 pounds. A year ago, I lost about 50 pounds and have kept it off until one month ago. Then, I gained 5 pounds, and though I know it doesn't really make that much of a difference, I'm wondering what could be the culprit. I don't want to end up gaining my weight back. I've been eating the same amount of calories, and because I was in a car accident I started walking for an hour a day, 6 days a week instead of running 30 minutes a day, 6 days a week. Can anyone help me?
Has it been a full month that you have had the extra 5 lbs? Your metabolism could be slowing down or you may not be having regular movements, it may be adding up. It is hot out too, perhaps its just water weight?
I actually haven't been having regular movements, so maybe that's it. I think I get enough fiber though, so I don't know what it is
NEVER FEAR FOR THE MASSAGEGUY IS HERE...lol
Ur 120lbs but U did not give your height. U lost about 50lbs until one month ago and u do not want gaining it back. U eat the same amt of calories but was in a car accident.
Walk 10 minutes at 100 steps per minute, increase the length of time to a minimum of 90 minutes a week. Easy to time and u will max your walking exercise.
Eat a well balanced diet...keep the calorie level but introduce more raw veggies and colon cleansing foods. Make sure you have at elast 2 BM's a day and drink 1/2 your wt in ounces of water...so 60 ounces per day unless your drinking a lot of other fluids. Avoid alcohol and caffeine as well as the whites those fats, sugars, flour and salt.
The colon can hold up to 40lbs of waste in chronic cases...for you 5 pounds would make a difference if hiding there in your tummy.
I'm 5'6, and I don't really eat raw veggies, they're kind of gross to me. There actually isn't one raw veggie that I will eat, maybe a little lettuce. But thanks for the advice!
i also hate raw vegs -- do you like them steamed? ziploc makes those microwave steam bags, i throw some broccoli in and then sprinkle garlic and lemon juice. you'll still have all the fiber if it's steamed. you can steam anything - bok choy, zucchini, asparagus - and it's so filling and low calorie.
