I don't wanna eat! I have a cold!

I got a cold from my kiddos.  I made it to the gym this morning, sort of an attempt to run the cold out of my system.  Well I have been making myself munch here and there but I'm never hungry when I'm sick.  I'm having chicken for dinner but can't figure out what I want to eat with it and I need like another 900 calories for the day (I've only eaten like 900 so far today).  I don't know how I'm gonna make up that many calories without giving in and making some yummy bad for me desert, but even that doesn't sound good at this point...I hate being sick!

Well when your sick it can be hard...If your really worried about getting the extra calories in you can alway's have fruit juice or make a fruit smoothie.....

Whenever I'm under the weather and don't feel like eating, I love having soy milk.  It has a lot of nutrients that you might be missing out on today.  Also, you can try some nuts, they are soo small and calorie dense.  

Cough syrups have close to 100cal/dose.  If you've taken any of those, you might be closer to your calorie target than you think.

I suggest liquids, like apple juice or something. Feel better soon! =]
