I HAVE A MANGO CRUSH Yell

I CANT THINK OF NOT EATING THEM...I WAIT FOR THE MANGO SEASON ALL YEAR LONG. I CANNT HV ENOUGH OF THEM

AND YET ITS A TURN OFF THAT THEY R SO HIGHLY CALORIC AND HIGH IN CARBS

I CANNT LIVE WITHOUT EATING THEM.. IM EVEN THINKING OF QUITING MY DIET TILL THE MANGO SEASON IS OVER.

Please start by turning your caps lock key off.  Cool

There's lots of ways to fit mangos into a healthy diet.  Don't buy them already cut, do the work yourself, that will slow you down.  Puree them in a smoothie, freeze them for a nice summer treat.  You can make a freezer jam out of them so you can have them year round.

Mangos are healthy so there's no need to avoid them, just enjoy them and count them in your calories.

I second the not avoid mangos option. They're too wonderful to not eat! Just limit yourself! They're fruit! Fruit is great!

I have a solution - eat them until you can't eat anymore - then eat more.

I thought mangos were relatively low calorie?  Like 100 for the entire thing?  Why is that a problem?

Ummmm...  I had one cup of mango for lunch yesterday.  It was 107 cals for the whole thing. 

Actually the entire mango cut up was about 3/4 of a cup, so really it was less than 107.  I don't see this as an issue in a balanced diet. 

We all agree: eat mangoes.

When they are ripe and juicy and dribble down your chin it is like heaven.

Mmm - I love mangoes!! I actually buy them in frozen chunks and use mango nectar and make a fruit smoothie with nothing but mangoes. But only about once a week.

I love mangos too!!!  I buy the whole ones b/c I'm too lazy to cut more than one up.

I commented on this thread earlier this afternoon. I then went to the grocery store. Low and behold what is the first thing I see in the produce section on sale for $0.80 a piece?!?! .....................MANGOES! I bought 4 LaughingLaughing

for those of u asking abt the problem... well

1 fruit without refuse = 208 gm approx = 138 cals approx

and i can eat as much as 7 in a day... thats when im keeping myself in limits

and blv me... nothing can slow me down on mangos.. cut or not... i amd ready to put any hardwork it takes
