HELP!
I'm a typically active person. I walk for an hour every day and work out on my eliptical every other day as well as push ups and sit ups. However, it seems that this 1600 cal. diet the site put me on has actually made me gain weight. At 5'5 I now weigh in at 158lbs! Because I am in the U.S navy, it's very important that I stay in a healthy weight range. My goal is to be about 120lbs but it seems as if that's never going to happen. I only have until the end of June to get down to about 130 for the Navy so I'm going to extremes. anyone with 1200cal or less diet plans please give me some ideas. (Oh by the way I try to have a diet of 110-120grams of protein and a least 25grams of fiber a day so if you could take that into consideration I would be very grateful.)
I stay at 1200, you should not go less, that's ridiculous. You'll have scurvy by the time you try to go back tothe navy! i wasn't exercising much in the beginning just doing the diet and it made me lose about 3 lbs and stay there, i started the end of last week exercising and already lost another lb. I don't count proteins and fats, i just count the calories, and i know i eat pretty balanced except on sunday were it's basically just a carb fest.
Kristen,
You can do this! Try to change up your routine a bit. I hate to say it, but try cutting Down Not OUT your carb fest. Carbs love me. They stick to my butt, arms, belly and legs! I am cutting my carbs down to 20 net grams a day and still eating like crazy and seems to be working. I will post another WI in five days and I think I will be down pounds. Have confidence and fight harder! You so can do this!!!
Best,
Shannon
