Going down!
Hey.
Just wanted to let you all know that it's working.
One week after joining i'm down from 222.4 lbs to 219.8, so i'm looking forward to next weeks weigh-in.

Way to go!! It's kind of surprising that no one has commented yet but sometimes we don't log on often enough.
I started on 1/23/09 at 170 pounds and reached my goal of 158 in several weeks. I'm glad to see that it works, meaning that if I stick with the plan the weight will drop. So when I feel hungry and want to eat but I don't, I know the scale will show the reward. Then, my body feels lighter, confidence goes up, self-esteem is boosted, and other life-challenges become easier as well. Sometimes when I don't have anything to do I can bask in the glory of my achieved weight goal...instead of eating. All your life positives add up, they accumulate.

Good stuff! I'm down about 8 pounds since starting again this summer (I was on the site last summer and got down from 250 to 220 (6'3"), and I'm starting this summer at about 260. I'm planning on getting down to 235 as my first goal.

I am 5'10" too. I was up to 216 and now am at 201. I want to get to lower 190's and then see where I want to go from there.
