Dressing to show off the "new you"

Quote  |  Reply

I have been on this site since Feb.  I am proud to say that I have lost 24 lbs. thus far.  I went from a size 8ish (verging on a 10) to a 4.  I used to buy clothes to "hide" my body or camoflouge my figure (especially the belly area - think lots of empire waists).  I've had difficulty changing my mindset to shop for figure flauting clothes.  I'm going to a nice dinner with friends in 2 weeks and they haven't seen me since I've lost the weight.  On Saturday I'm going shopping for an outfit to wear.  My question is this: what can l look for show off the new me -  what will make me look smokin' hot?  Oh yeah, and I'm 38 so I don't want to look like a hootchie mama! LOL

Go to myshape.com and put in your measurements...their clothes are way expensive but will show you styles that flatters your shape whatever it may be!  What a treat to dress for decoration instead of camoflouge! Have FUN!

Great idea, I'll check them out!

I tried to add a picture of this outfit (from myshape.com) to my post but it didn't take. So cute. It says it's call Romantic Glam 166 I'm not sure if you can search for it like that though, give it a shot. It says it flatters shapes M, S, H, P.

Thanks so much I'll give that a try!

Have you heard of www.taaz.com? upload a headshot and then it's makeover time.  It's silly fun and if you love make up it does give brand recommendations based on what you pick for eye color lip color etc.

Thanks I'll try that too!
