Dried fruit.. is it really that bad?
I love my dried fruit. Whether its apples, apricots, raisins or anything else, here I am snacking away all day thinking im being healthy for eating it instead of chips or chocolate.
I've just looked a couple of different types and I am astounded! I had no idea a package could contain so many calories.. so much sugar!
Does anyone know of any lower cal types of dried fruit, brands perhaps? Or is it actually okay and I just need to put it in perspective? I don't want to lose my favourite friend ):
Maybe dried strawberries? But you can help it by drinking water while eating it - that way, it'll be like eating the actual fruit itself and getting your stomach full faster =]
dried fruit, nuts, and seeds are great. yes they have more clas but theyre also good for you so just enjoy them in moderation. 1/4cup or 3 tblspns is a serving.
Hey, that is a good point, I drink tons of water each day so I should be right.
I guess moderation is what I was lacking in =/
Oh well. I know now!
