i am drinking almost every day some beer, mostly at night time, when watching a movie or so, and i have gotten to the 1200 cal/day without the beer), exercise almost daily for about 40 min. I would like to know how does this work, should i eat less because the beer calories count too, does it really matter, there is people who say that beer doesn't make you put on weight, actually alcool generally. i don't know what to do. i lost weight before while drinking, and even though i might have gone very close to the starvation mode, i think it didn't matter cause i kept the fat off, and didn't put it back.

alcohol slows down the metabolism.. thats just the facts. Other than that I dunno how to help. Beer is gross!

star them are fighting words! Well not but beer is fantastic if it's good beer. As for alcohol slowing down your metabolism it doesn't really in fact it may increase thermogenesis but while the alcohol is being burnt off your body will use it over burning fat.
I have been drinkin beer most of my life. I quit because if I eat the amt of cals I should there are none left after the beer. When I smoked I ate very little and drank a lot. Since I quit smoking I have to eat or my stomach hurts. Can you cut back on the beer or drink Micelob Ultra Light? I don't like the taste.
