OMG! Whats up with me? Me, Fiona, drivenlass, Ms. Optmistic. I was doing so well with eating, gaining, recovery, life is getting better, im looking better, im feeling better, relationships are better, im happier, im healthier, ed is ALOT less than before.
BUT gaining and recovery has STOPPED, Im at a standstill and not moving forward.
I am aware that ed is dissapearing too which may be contributing to this change feeling but evidnece is, recovery and gaining has STOPPED!
Help with moving forward!?

But is the ED disappearing? If you feel like progress has stopped, that's usually when that creepy jerk of an ED is slowly sinking his nails back into you... at least that's what it is with me.

nope, I'm not...
I say be cautious. BREAK THROUGH! Look at your progress, look at how you have helped and inspired others. Keep that going!
Hi driven - I assume you are not yet at your goal weight?
It seems your psychological recovery has progressed well based on the behaviours, emotions etc you describe but I am guessing weight wise you must still have some progress to make to be posting this topic??
Maybe touch base with your support team to check what you can do to take the next step? Maybe a change of calorie amounts might be needed? I suggest you share with your support team what you are feeling to keep your motivation and to make sure you can keep moving forward.
And like bsh says.... be wary of ED... he can creep back in very unexpectedly...

Add another 500 cals to whatever it is you're eating. Change things around so that you're not eating the same things all the time. Try new foods and new recipes... keep it interesting. You're in exactly the same situation as any other long-term 'dieter'...... boredom has probably set in and you're in a rut.
Help with moving forward = starting tomorrow and every day this week dig out the cookbooks and try a new recipe you've never made before. 'Motivation' is finite. 'Enjoyment' is infinite.
think why you are doing this , all the reasons you want to be free from this illness, often when we come so far we forget how bad we actually felt before and the ed tricks us in to thinking we are well. its ok to stop and breathe but dont let it be for long youve so much to live for and you deserve a better life than this . like gi jane said how about adding more ? how about changing some of your meals i often get bored with certain foods but feel stuck in changing them . are you bored with your surroundings ? plan something anything that will make you happy which you enjoy. you just need to get that positive energy back . so dont stop there lol you ve come so far you need to complete the journey h xx
