Driving Test
Any tips on how not to lose it under pressure, I get so nervous and start making mistakes :(
just try to pretend you a driving alone. keep telling yourself that you know how to drive, you'll be fine.
try to think positive, you're gonna pass!!
That and being aware that I'm panicking, so I am concious to stop it.
Good luck!!!
Force yourself to take a deep breath whenever you start to feel nervous.
Think of some mantra or calming word that you can go back to whenever you feel frazzled.
But the most important thing is... GO SLOW. There is no reason to hurry. If you need time to think about and respond to a command, don't freak out! Take the time that is needed so you can perform deliberately. REMEMBER: these driving instructors see a LOT of nervous kids. They know you are nervous. They are not judging you as a person.
Have you practiced driving a lot? Maybe your mom or dad will take you out driving this evening or tomorrow. Practice was really the only thing that made me more comfortable driving.
Ooh, good luck! I failed twice before passing. I got so nervous with the officer in the car that I freaked out and did stupid things. On my final (and successful!) try, I just took deep breaths and talked to him about school, my future plans, etc. It helped me stay calm and not spazz out.
Good luck...
On the go andin the know.
