dropping weight for homecoming- two weeks away.
yeah... thats the goal. i am in school, so i dont have much selection on the lunch aspect. but i am thinking, if i drink a glass of milk or a yogurt for breakfast. zero snacks during school. and have carrots/ salad and maybe like frenchfries or something for lunch. running or biking after school (injured currently), and a small dinner. - only eating as hungry as i am. i will be able to lose the weight in a healthy way.
i have the tendency of over eating when im not that hungry. =[
height: 5'5
cw:128
gw:120 (atleast)
does that sound good?!
whats your bmi and measurements? People such as myself who only need to lose 10 pounds take the longest. Though I think it could be possible to lose 8-10 lbs in two weeks but would take ALOT of hard work. Try to get at least 1200 calories a day. running/ biking won't be enough to lose 8 lbs in 2 weeks. You need to do the harder stuff like weights and strength training like sqauts and lunges the stuff that really hurts will get you there faster lol. But they say to lose weight healthy you shouldnt lose no more then 2 pounds a week. So in that sense it wouldnt be good.
uhm i have a bmi of 21.1
i havent measured in about 2 weeks. but i am very athletic, but i havent been allowed to compete for the last couple weeks cause i messed my hip up. so by light running and heavy biking i was hoping to still be able to lose.
Ditto to the above post. There is no 'healthy way' to lose 8 lbs in 2 weeks, especially if you're starting at 128 lbs. And if the majority of your calories for the day are coming from french fries, that's not healthy either. You need at least 1200 cals/day, and you need to make sure you're including food from all the food groups.
My advice is to go out and enjoy homecoming and not worry about the number on the scale. At 5'5 and 128, you're probably gorgeous just the way you are.
Since you're 16 you should be eating at least 1800 cals/day. Snacks are good! They keep you from getting too hungry and overeating and keep your blood sugar level throughout the day. Also, you mentioned being injured so it's not good to throw yourself into some crazy program (never is but especially now).
