mmmmmm

drunken munchies...

just polished off 1/3 bag of sour cream + onion chips

blech
"Anyone else feel like that"............god yeah,  only everyone that ever drinks  lol

Gotta accept it as a reality,  if you get drunk,  you'll make decisions you wouldnt otherwise have made..........and not just the kebabs, burgers and currys!!

If you get drunk its going to happen so either dont get drunk or dont let yourself feel guilty about it.

No point beating yourself up is there??
I'm just getting over being drunk and eating sour cream & onion chips too!

I'm just trying to convince myself that it's impossible to screw up a month of progress with one drunken night of binging.  Just try extra hard this week. :)

Really though it's not being drunk that will sabotage your diet- it's all about what you eat the next day.  Though around here french fries w/ mozarella and gravy is quite delish when you've had a cocktail too many.
Ah - poutine!  the perfect hangover food.

eurggghhhhhh, i have had the biggest hangover binge this morning...no junk, but way too much healthy food. Not to mention the drunken sweets last night and the fact i feel too crappy to go to the gym. I hate alcohol!

This is why I stopped drinking that much. I would drink too much, and consequently eat too much.

Also turning 21 pretty much ruined the fun of it, and turning 22 removed any last traces of fun that I had previously associated with drinking.
yeah, i'm pretty sure i went at least 1000 calories over maintainence yesterday. blech!
I did that last night too!! :/

I had one of the very SMALL bags of Combo's about 230 calories...just imagine if I got the big bag, lol

and some unsalted peanuts....those were probably also about 200 calories.

Good thing I passed out after those so I couldn't get anything else in ;)

I still only ate 1900 cals for the whole day so it wasn't too bad..
Oh man, I get drunken munchies like it's my job!  I do have somewhat of a solution that can work part of the time.  Buy a large bottle of water and down it before you touch any food.  This is a normal portion control trick, but it works especially well when you are drunk because you are very dehydrated, (also a good trick when you are blazed).
hi insecure teen...yup I've done this before and I wake up the next morning thinking MY GAAAWWD how many flippin calories did I have last night?! LOL

I was at a friend's b-day party (in March) and I don't know what got into me but I could NOT stop eating for like the whole night. (that is not normal behaviour for me)

I'm not usually like that (like in the past when i'm out drinking I don't go crazy on food?! I realized the only difference between now and then is that my crazy eating while drunk started when I  started dieting!

So at my friend's b-day here is what I ate over the course of a 8 hour evening that ended at 4:00 a.m

So in addition to about a 1/2 liter of white wine...

-I basically wound up eating 3/4 of a chocolate cake ...I just kept going back for more..and the more wine I drank the more cake I ate lol

-an entire bag of doritos...found that huge bowl on a coffee table and since I was talking to someone right around that bowl the whole thing of doritos was done within an hour

-Chips and dip...probably had about half a large huge family size bag of chips and 1/2 a container of cream cheese dip..

-chinese egg rolls...must have had about 5 with some sort of sauce

That 's it...and I wasn't sick at all. Next day I didn't eat a thing...maybe like a little V8 ...this was not intentional ...I really really had no appetite the next day but yeah I sure pigged out that night and I know it is due to the combo of DIETING WHILE DRUNK.. (DWD)

Dieters really need to drink carefully :)
i know, its like when i am drunk nothing else matters and its just like mehhhh bugger it,ill eat what the hell i like cos i can and dont feel guilty and its the only time you dont. sometimes i wish you could stay drunk forever....

I know what you're going through. i'm drunk right now, in fact... and i have the munchies. the main thing that helps me is to make sure I don't have any snacks in my room when I come back from a night of drinking. Right now I'd love nothing more than to shove my face full of snacks... but unfortunately I have nothing in my room to snack on, so I guess I'm out of luck. It stinks for the moment, but I know that tomorrow I will feel so much better knowing that I went out and didn't gorge myself with food in the process.
Yeah thats good, unfortunately I went home on a train from one of the main london train stations where there is millies cookies...mcdonalds...yes you name it.
i had a whole 7" spicy chicken pizza last night...  OOOPS!

If you didn't drink you wouldn't get the "drunken munchies"
No offence but I am really laughing....I know its illegal but its quite normal for people under 18 to drink (18 is the drinking age in the UK)

Also about my parents, they know I drink and I drink wine at meals with them so its not a big deal..
LOL yes I am afraid to say that I agree!!! I think you'd have trouble finding an english 17 year old who hasn't had a drink.  Alcohol isn't the massive deal / taboo over here.  Coming from someone who spent a summer working in the states at 20! It was very strange to go over there and suddenly alcohol was "naughty"! Drinking was much crazier there at 20 than it is at home... I guess it's a case of the forbidden fruit an' all! Alcohol just doesn't excite British 20 year olds in the same way... after all you've been legally drinking for two years and probably drinking for a couple of years before that
Drunken munchies...exactly why I havent really been out drinking since I started eating better. Theres nothing better than going out for breakfast at 2:30 AM. Ummm!
sat night got me too!  friend's house party and the snacks were everywhere within arms reach.  ack!
