I have dry cuticles. Anyone have a magic cure? I have my nails done (solar ones) and the cuticles look nice for a day or so. I use hand creams but my cuticles are still dry.
Have you tried jojoba oil or lavendar oil? You should use a cream or oil after washing while there is moisture on your hands to rub in, not dripping, just damp. Also try some of the hair, skin, and nail vitamin supplements. Wear gloves during weather conditions that can dry your hands out.
cuticle oil works wonders for me. one drop and my cuticles look like new... whatever that means :).
one thing that made a big difference for me was making sure to wear gloves when I did dishes and generally try to keep my hands from getting wet more than they need to.
By accident I found that coconut oil works great. I wash my hands often so I use it at the end of the day. Before bed I put it on and leave it until I wake up to wash my hands. My skin is really dry and sometimes my hands crack over winter. It's painful. A couple nights a week I use the coconut oil in gloves and it really helps.
