Dunkin Donuts Advertisement
Has anyone else been offended by the Dunkin Donuts advertisement on CC? It's not bad enough that DD are on EVERY street corner, but now they're infiltrating and sabotaging my quest for a healthier lifestyle by offering a $1 of a dozen donuts on Calorie Count? Come On! I can't take it!
I haven't come across a Dunkin' Donuts advertisement, but even if I did, I wouldn't have been offended. But then, I have the luxury of living in a city where Dunkin' Donuts isn't on every street corner.

lol same here
Unfortunately, CC has no control of the ads - they aren't posted to CC specifically, they are posted to About.com, and I believe are ramdomly strewn about all the About.com websites.
I actually find the worst ones to be the fad diet advertisements. We have all this great info on here about how to safely lose weight and gain a healthy lifestyle, and right next to that is an ad on how to lose 11 lbs every 10 days! Guaranteed!!
Ugh!
I have seen those ads and thought it a bit strange, but just because I'm eating healthy doesnt mean I never eat at DD I just pick the more healthy options like the eggwhite flatbread sandwhich thingy its got under 300 cals, fills me well, and is pretty yummy.

Me either - to be honest, I wish there was a Dunkin Donuts near me. I loooove their coffee.

Yes - their coffee is awesome. Here in STL, Krispy Kreme has the chain market (coffee is so-so), although the best donuts come from mom & pop bakeries like McArthur's (who makes a wicked bavarian creme). Geez - now I want a donut. ![]()

Ugh I agree. That gets on my nerves so bad!
I think I was feeling especially aggrivated at the time I saw the ad (I understand not having control of online ads) because I had just come from a dunkin donuts where I used every ounce of willpower I had to NOT get anything...
We used to have a Krispee Kreme a few towns a way thankfully it went out of business because I could NOT say no to those fresh hot glazed gifts from the heavens!
Ignore them. DD is just selling their wares.
But what I found surprising is that some of their donuts are healthier than some of their bagels. I was amazed when someone pointed this out. When you check some of their products the variations in fat and calorie contents is night and day so you can find some things there that aren't too bad for you. The only reason I go there now is they have plain Green Tea. I don't like the herbal types or with flavorings so I stop at a DD almost daily for my tea.
