So if you go the the eyeslipsface website, EVERYTHING IS A DOLLAR!!!  ALL make up is a dollar!  Apparently they were just bought by a bigger company and need to get rid of everything with the e.l.f. logo on it...

Enjoy Ladies!

They weren't bought by anyone - that is their normal price point.  I have been shopping their stuff online for about 2 years, and it is good stuff - and the price makes it better, since you aren't supposed to keep makeup as long as normal folks do.  If it only costed me a dollar, it doesn't hurt as much to trash it after it has sat in my makeup bag for too long.

they weren't bought out, i thought. nordstrom just wants to change the logo/name of the product away from eyes lips face.

Really this is the normal price?  I heard about it on the radio!  I had no idea!  They said that it was bought on the radio... I am not sure where they got their information, but whatever $1 is an awesome price!

Drat.  I thought this was about the Navy's ELF antennae that have had Northwestern Wisconsinites up in arms for the past few decades...

Nope. That is just some internet rumor. There is nothing special about this company other than their stuff is a $1.

oh lame. i've never used the stuff, but it doesn't seem like a $1 product should be something you'd want to put on your skin...

Actually it is a really good product! How are they able to keep the costs down?!

I have heard mixed reviews on E.L.F. Some folks like it, but a vast majority say "you get what you pay for". At least that's what I found when I did a little internet research on it

I can vouch that their stuff (some of it at least) is worth much more than the dollar.

Some of it is about worth the price of a normal Rite-Aid kind of shadow, but none of it is worth only a dollar.

They're able to keep their prices down because they don't advertise, and packaging is bare minimum (not super pretty like Urban Decay or high tech pots like Mac).

Think about it. How many ads in tv, radio and magazines do you see for Maybelleine? The price for that ad is put into the product's end price.

The only down side is that they are back ordered, so it takes awhile to get products to you, and once it does, sometimes things are missing. I pointed out to them that two items were missing and one was damaged, and they refunded $3 to my account within 2 days.

Over all, worth it if you want to expand your makeup kit, or just want to play around with new colors, without spending a ton of money. I really like their cream blushes and blush stick myself. Use it everyday.

I just recieved my first order a few months ago.  I think I ordered one of everything!  The best products are the face shimmer/bronzer, lip gloss, and makeup brushes.  I ordered lots of brushes, an eyelash curler, tweezers, etc. and was more than happy with all of them!  Those items go for $10.00 easy at discount chains.  Hope that helps the future ELF shoppers out there Smile.

well at $1 not much to lose to try them out :P

they're products are tiny in size, sometime 1/2 the size of their competitors, which is good for me because I never wear much and it goes bad before I use it all anyway.  It's great if you want a wide variety of colors or one specific color for a special event and you can get 4 or 5 products and see which one works best for the cost of one normal cosmetic.

The mineral make up...$5...is the best I have ever used!  the $1 dollar powder is small, but again, BEST I have had...I just use that, no foundation anymore...the lip gloss I personally would like deeper colors, but I do like them.  You need to plan ahead or the shipping will rob your savings, (type in Carolina in the code and you will get a discount) but I love elf and use it every day...never going back.

the mascara is great!

if you guys like mineral makeup, everydayminerals.com is FANTASTIC. I have paid A LOT for that crap but everydayminerals is like $5 as well.

If you like mineral eyeshadows, I'm in LOVE with theshespace.com You can get little samples for $.50. I bought a million of them.

where is the e.l.f. website??

When I heard about this company last week it was a sale because they were bought out by Nordstroms.  If you go to Nordstroms site they tell you they are not affliated with ELF  http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=2 11996&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=1167023&a mp;highlight=

Now if you do wish to order anyway I was told about a 25% code you can enter.  The code is ECTUTAY   It was working last Friday when my SIL ordered.

The website is http://www.eyeslipsface.com/

The 25% discount may not work this week, they have a 10% anniversary discount banner on their website.

NEW CODE!!!  10% off if you Type in   EGANNIVDS

I love ELF, I've used them for a year or so, and they are great. Cheap and Great.

Got my order today.. A little miffed because half my order is missing... I called them though and 5 items were refunded (not sure why, but I will re-order) the other 5 items that were missing will be sent tomorrow.  (she wanted to refund, but I did want them so I asked for her to just re-order instead.)  The products seem normal size to me, and I will try them tomorrow.
